This is the story of Lucia, a young woman who seeks to break free from the constraints of her life and her heart. Through evocative imagery of clothing, materials, movement and light, Lucia's journey unfolds in a mysterious and surreal landscape. Capturing the essence of young people's spiritual wanderlust and incorporating the beauty of material sadness, Lucia weaves in and out of themes of love, freedom and poetry, echoing Freud's Oedipus Desire. Her journey questions the boundaries of space, identity and social structures, ultimately inspiring viewers to embrace their individuality and explore the unknown.
The film delves into the psychological boundaries altered by the global upheaval of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. This period of introspection prompts us to redefine our lives and their inherent constraints, offering a new opportunity to reach for implicit stability and break free from past norms of living. The film invites the audience to engage with the film in a unique and thought-provoking way, encouraging a reassessment of life from a different perspective.
